Department chairs, assistant department chairs, adjunct faculty, staff, and students can all nominate an adjunct faculty member they deem outstanding.  They will be asked to fill out a form online and submit it to begin the process.   Once a nomination is submitted, the adjunct will be notified of the honor.  The adjunct will then have to submit their completed applications at outstanding@myafa.org. 

The nomination process must be completed by March 3, 2017. The application process for nominated adjuncts must be completed by March 10, 2017. Final selections and notifications will be made by March 31, 2017.

Step 1:   Department chairs, administrators, colleagues and/or students will fill out the google form listed below and submit  it to the committee.  Multiple individuals can submit forms for the same nominee. You can also nominate more than one person.

Step 2:  Applicants are contacted and told about their nomination.  Nominees no longer have to complete a long application and instead they merely have to submit a resume/curriculum vitae.  They should also send in a brief 100 word biography for program information.  Send these items in a word document (please no pages and no pdfs) to outstanding@myafa.org.

Step 3:  A small campus committee will select their winners from the application pool.

Step 4:  A maximum of three winners from each campus will be selected and informed of their award.
